teaching at EAIFR

The East African Institute of Fundamental Research (EAIFR), see https://eaifr.ictp.it,
is an international hub of research excellence in Kigali, Rwanda, and an ICTP Partner
Institute with a UNESCO Category 2 status.
The EAIFR is now searching for lecturers for the academic year 2023-2024 to deliver
the following courses for the second year MSc students in condensed matter physics:
1) Electrons and Phonons in Solids (= Solid State Physics)
2) Numerical Methods II
3) Advanced Statical Mechanics
4) Biological Physics
The planned format is intensive two weeks in person teaching followed by online follow
up/discussions with the students.
Travel and living costs are covered by the EAIFR.
There is some flexibility in the teaching format (e.g. duration of the in person
teaching can be extended) and in the choice of the dates.
I can personally add that Kigali is a very nice and safe city.
